Ree Aldridge
Ree has been in the veterinary field for 10 years. She originally began as a volunteer at a local shelter clinic in Buffalo, NY. Ree and her husband, Chris, share their home with a total of 16 pets—12 cats and 4 dogs. They consider it an occupational hazard, as they often take in animals surrendered by owners facing unforeseen circumstances.
Ree can’t quite explain why she loves veterinary medicine so deeply—it simply feels like home. Throughout her life, she has explored various career paths, but none have ever resonated the way veterinary medicine does. For Ree, it just feels right.

Chris Aldridge
Chris has always had a passion for animals. After proudly serving 10 years in the Marine Corps, he shifted into the world of retail, where he spent several years developing strong customer service and communication skills. But it was the heartbreaking loss of his beloved pit bull, Diamond, that became a turning point in his life.
Feeling a deep need to understand what had happened and how to better care for animals, Chris seized the opportunity to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Since then, he’s been dedicated to learning everything he can—not just for himself, but so he can guide and support others on their pet ownership journey.
What drives Chris most is helping new pet owners navigate the challenges of being a responsible pet parent. He finds real joy in educating and empowering families, and watching the bond between people and their pets grow stronger. For Chris, veterinary medicine isn’t just a career—it’s a calling.
